I Counted Up ALL of The Stereo And Audio Components And Speakers I Have Owned Since 1975 PART ONE

September 8, 2019
#327

Gentle reader,

The number 327 is significant to me since my first three cars: 1964 Chevrolet Impala 2-door hardtop, 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS convertible and 1967 Impala SS convertible all had 327 cubic inch V8 engines.

NOTE: Clicking on any photograph will open a second window OVER this one. The images will be larger and you can click through them or use < and > arrow keys to look through them.
Unlike many collectors of vintage audio equipment, I never collected. I bought things to try and/or turn around and sell. But I never stockpiled equipment. Well, not often.

The problem wit Blogger is that one cannot make columns. I have therefore had to remove all the descriptive information from the list and attempted to straighten the component's model name/number as well as the site will allow.

I am scattering group shots throughout the list, to keep you awake.

(B)= Black
(S)= Silver
(G)= Gold
(Ch G)= Champagne Gold
(G)= Grey or is it Gray?
(2) or (3)= more than 1 of the same

* From the dark times when some Asian factory was making cheap Dynaco knock offs. Unit had two volume sliders, phono and aux inputs in addition to ten band equalizer.

Cerwin-Vega! LS12 speakers once sat in here with the BOSE 301s mounted above near the ceiling. Stock Optimus Pro LX4 speakers with my highly modified no-longer-Minimus 7W speakers on top.

LEGEND        LE-412 (S)     Still use to switch Power Meters

Klipsch KG4s and Cerwin-Vega! LS12 speakers switched rooms. Now all the natural wood veneer speakers are in here and two pair of black speakers in the listening room.

Speaking of speakers, this article has gotten long enough. So, Part Two will comprise JUST the speakers.

I apologize for the crooked columns, there is no tab-ability in this blogger program, I got them as straight as I could.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to read my humble blog, prior to 1985, I did not have a camera, so many items I owned prior to that have no photo history.
