Camera collection breakdown.

I typed up this list long before I decided to shrink the collection.

The photos above and below, I added on September 10, 2016. They were made in 2005 at the time I was in the midst of selling my (now-late) friend, Colonel Bill Arps' massive collection of cameras and other sundry related items. The creepy creature below was one of two that his wife had bought. They did not sell. Other  blog posts show the cameras better and an image, (if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of this page) show the CameraLock boards with all the cameras. I made that image with a fisheye lens.

The collection consists of cameras from 62 different manufacturers from six different countries. 14 companies were in the USA, one in China, one in Ukraine, 4 in Russia, 12 in Germany and 30 in Japan. I included Sears and Wards under the USA as they are American companies although the cameras were made in Japan and Germany. Cameras were made in many other countries, but I don’t have any. To tell you what country they were made in, I have color coded the names below. USA is Blue. Japan is Orange. Germany is Purple. Russia is Red. China is Tan.
